Trichlorfon USES

  • Insecticide used to control flies and cockroaches.
  • Purpose One of the biologically active forms of niacin. It differs from NAD by having an additional phosphate group at the 2′ position of the adenosine moiety. Acts as a coenzyme for hydrogenase and dehydrogenase. Mainly found in living cells
  • Uses Anticholinergic drugs, urinary incontinence treatment
  • Uses Trichlorfon is used to control a wide range of insects in many crops and to control household pests, flies in animal houses and ectoparasites in livestock.
  • Purpose Trichlorfon is an irreversible inhibitor of organophosphate acetylcholinesterase and a prodrug of dichlorvos (D435950). Trichlorfon has also shown potential as an effective organophosphorus pesticide.
