L-Valine USES

L-valine is a branched-chain amino acid that works synergistically with two other high-concentration amino acids (isoleucine and leucine) to promote normal growth, repair tissues, regulate blood sugar, and provide needed energy. In addition, the role of valine also includes stimulating the central nervous system, which is necessary for proper mental function. Valine can provide extra energy for muscles to produce glucose to prevent muscle weakness during strenuous exercise. It also helps to remove excess nitrogen (a potential toxin) from the liver and transport nitrogen needed by the body to all parts of the body. Valine can also help treat liver and gallbladder diseases, as well as damage to these organs caused by alcohol and drug abuse.
